43. JavaScript rollover buttons



This script will change the appearance of an image to another state. This creates a hover effect for images that can be used for navigation links. Necessary tools: some images with 2 states (e.g. 2 different background colours, text colours for the same image) and a text editor for amending the code for your needs.

46. 3 state buttons with fade in - fade out effect



Move the mouse over the given buttons and you will see 3 state images. But the changes of the image occur gradually. You can make any quantity of buttons in page. This script works with Internet Explorer and Netscape6.

47. Link Fader script



This easy-to-install script allows your links to fade from one colour to another (both of which you specify) when the mouse hovers over any link on the page, and back to the original colour "onmouseout". Works in almost all browsers - Netscape6/Mozilla/IE/Opera (except Netscape4) and doesn't cause error messages in those that it does not work in. It's highly customizable too.

50. Writing to layers



Write to a layer, or to multiple layers, even in table cells with ns4. You can superimpose content over an image too. The position of layers can be adjusted for long lists of links.
