21. NFC Chat



NFC is a scalable, distributed chat framework implemented in Java. The software is very flexible, allowing it to fill almost any chat requirement. Notable features include built in load balancing and HTTP-tunneling support. Using the load balancing, a distributed network of servers can be formed, similar to an IRC network.

This is a small Chat applet uses a Perl script on the server side. This applet wasn't designed for heavy load.
