Button Ticker
This is a Cross Browser Javascript Button Ticker that ticks a number of messages on a button. You can change the direction in which the message ticks. (i.e the order in which the message ticks). This ticker is very easy to customise. You can add any number of messages and their corresponding URLs. Messages must be added to the array ticker_msg and the URLs must be added to the array ticker_url. This ticker ticks the messages on a button. You can change the style of the button easily. The ticker speed can be changed easily by changing the value of the variable ticker_speed.

DOM Tooltip
DOM Tooltip allows developers to have dynamic and configurable tooltips on HTML pages. This library supports Mozilla/Netscape6+, IE 5+, Konqueror and Opera 7. The tooltips are configured through three class definitions in a stylesheet, and consist of two parts, the caption and the content. Tips can be either greasy, sticky or velcro, where sticky tips remain after mouseout of the object and require a click to close, velcro tips close when you mouse out of the tooltip and greasy close when you mouse out of the target that created it. The tooltips cannot even popup embedded windows onload.

Button Overkill
This JavaScript takes the image substitution idea one step further to produce a toolbar in which the buttons change appearance in response to mouse movement or actions, and explanatory text appears in a little 'LCD-look' panel. Upon clicking a button link, it sends users to the selected link.
